AVII GOLD aka Valerie Knill is a Swiss artist, filmmaker, musician, writer and actress. Her work brings together film, music, painting and language, creating a distinctive and often surreal world somewhere between reality, dreams and imagination.

Valerie Knill is fascinated by the great questions of human existence — perception, desire, fear, spirituality, and the mysterious relationship between humanity and the universe. Her work moves freely between experimentation, arthouse, pop and poetry, always leaving space for the unknown.

As a filmmaker, she creates unconventional and experimental works that have been screened and awarded at international film festivals. As AVII GOLD, she explores a musical world of dreamy indie-pop, melancholy and imagination.

Whether through film, music, painting or words, Valerie Knill sees art as a way of creating new realities — not simply reflecting what already exists, but inviting us to see, feel and imagine something that may not have existed before.
